More crochet, and some pages

I've been motoring on with this crochet lark, and finished a girly, frilly-brimmed hat for Holly. In fact, just about 5 minutes ago, I finished a scarf to match, but it's dark and rainy right now, so I'll wait for better light before taking a pic.

It's half term here at the moment, and we have lots of fun planned this week. Yarrow will be eight at the weekend, but instead of a party this year, she's just having a couple of friends over on Wednesday, to make pizza and eat cake. And then, at the weekend, we're having a family-only treat - something she has been desperate to do for a couple of years now! It will make a change from the usual Halloween party.

And, speaking of birthday parties, here's a page on the subject that recently appeared in Scrapbook Magazine. I had some fun finding interesting ways to use leaf punches on a few autumn themed layouts.
